The 2022 Château De Pressac should be terrific. It has a forward, supple, incredibly charming style carrying lots of spicy red fruits, notes of leather, dried herbs, and loamy earth, medium body, plenty of mid-palate depth, and ripe tannins. I love its overall balance, and this is a seriously good 2022 that's going to offer pleasure right out of the gate. (Tasted twice.)

The 2022 de Pressac is dense, rich and explosive. Ripe dark cherry, plum, spice, menthol, licorice and chocolate give the 2022 notable depth and complexity. The tannins are very well balanced for a young Pressac, while floral top notes lift the finish. Tasted two times. Drinking window : 2028-2047

Château de Pressac 2022 impresses with its ability to showcase fruitiness regardless of hot and dry growing seasons. Upon swirling the glass, notes of red plums, blackberries, raspberries, and hawthorn cake emerge, followed by hints of cinnamon and clove, creating a lively and delightful experience. The fine powdery tannins cover the palate, enhancing the already round and structured body, while the finish is enriched with a nutty flavor, adding layers of complexity. Bright violet-tinged plum colour, vivid berry fruit on the opening, with velvety texture that you really see and feel in the glass. Impressive, this has great quality and personality, with crunchy red fruit fruit that has juice without sacrifcing depth and complexity. Stands out in the appellation. The 2022 de Pressac, a blend of 70% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, is deep garnet-purple in color. A tad closed to begin, it soon reveals notes of crushed red and black cherries, juicy plums, and tilled soil with an underlying waft of mossy tree bark. The full-bodied palate is laden with ripe, expressive black and red berry layers, supported by velvety tannins and oodles of freshness, finishing long and earthy.

Bright and vibrant, a lovely cleanness , so pure, so fine and well worked, generous, appealing but the weight and the texture and the tannic integration is flawless. Round, easy, lovely black and red fruits, great chalky coolness with some minerality and liquorice, graphite tang on the finish. A wine you could drink today but know there’s power underneath. Compelling and a clear buy. Detailed, finessed, refined, balanced and crisp, juicy and charming. Everything you want in a wine.

Ripe blackberry and cassis here with medium to full body and deep red berry succulence in the middle. Supple and sleek but wide and lengthy, with silky tannins. Long finish.
