"The 2021 Clos Haut-Peyraguey is a riveting Sauternes. Orange confit, lemon peel, white flowers, tangerine oil and mint soar across the palate. Exotic and floral overtones develop later, adding to the wine's sheer allure. Even with all of its plushness, the 2021 remains light on its feet. An explosion of heady aromas and flavors punctuates the dazzling finish. Sadly, brutal conditions wiped out most of the crop. Yields were a miserly 6-7 hectoliters per hectare."
