With little effort you find flowers, green apples, pears, pomelo, white peach, and pineapples in the perfume. On the palate, the wine is sweet, supple, soft, and fresh, with nuances of pineapple, lemon curd, spice, and orange rind. The harvest took place August 18 - August 31.The wine blends 52% Sauvignon Blanc with 48% Semillon. 13.5% ABV. Drink from 2025-2032.

Decanter

Sharp and instantly quite tangy on the palate, nice sense of life and energy with a good push of citrus fruit from start to finish. This keeps a sleek frame with bite and interest from start to finish. Lifted, lively, tense, but well defined and softly creamy. A yield of 42hl/ha. Tasted three times.

Falstaff

Pale yellow-green, silver reflections. Fresh meadow herbs, white tropical fruit, lime zest, green apple. Firm, crisp and mineral, yellow apple and a hint of blossom honey, lime zest in the aftertaste.

Bright citrus, tart pineapple, and honeyed mint are just some of the nuances in the 2022 Château Latour-Martillac Blanc, a medium-bodied, vibrant, crisp white that certainly makes the most of the vintage. It shows plenty of ripeness and concentration, yet I love its acidity and balance.

Fresh and bright with lemon pith, white flowers and chalky minerality. Medium- to full-bodied with vivid acidity. Really attractive and crisp.

A lot of exotic fruit in this bouquet, pineapple, lychee, also pink grapefruit and a funky minerality. The palate is firm, very lively, crisp fruit, fresh acidity, the wine shows creaminess, while remaining highly elegant. Citrus fruits, green apple on the finish and salty finish.
