Juicy and supple, a little sombre, lacking a touch of vibrancy, but the tannins are so well worked, clean, linear, straight, gorgeous salty edges give the freshness and tension. Really well delivered, just missing an extra punch. But nice frame and elegance. Liquorice and slate on the finish."

"Newly classified and deservedly so. Quite a bit of oak – toast, vanilla, coconut but a lovely rich and dark violet-lifted blueberry and mulberry fruit – very intense. Pure, precise, intense and densely concentrated and charged with fresh fruit juice. The frame is tightly structured, its parameters reined back and impressively delimited by the limestone tannins accentuating the feeling of concentration and intensity. Juicy. Very long."
