Brilliant ruby red. Finely scented nose of red cherries and cassis, elderberry, floral tones and some liquorice, cool appearance. The palate is lean yet shows good density, already approachable, with a delicate fruit that balances the already well-packed tannins and is carried by a lively acidity that gives plenty of freshness and drinkability. Very good length on the finish and dark fruity and floral back aromas. This is an incredibly crisp, fresh Margaux that will be fun early and yet has very good aging potential. Simply stunning in this price segment.
