Has charm and appeal, and a sappy delivery of cassis and bilberry fruits. Oldest vines on this estate are around 100 years old, helping them withstand the drought. 1% Petit Verdot completes the blend. 3.63pH, 20% new oak.

Dark ruby garnet, violet reflections, solid core, delicate edge lightening. Liquorice and tobacco, black berries, fresh orange zest. Firm, tight-knit, red heart cherries, fresh acidity, integrated tannins, also fresh on the finish, red berry-lemon aftertaste, a lively accompaniment to food, definite potential for development.

Dark in color, the wine opens with persuasive notes of cedar, creme de cassis, tobacco and forest leaf in the perfume. Full-bodied, ripe, rich and packed with crisp, juicy currants, the wine finishes with a big mouthful of firm, chewy blackberries, currants and a refreshing sprig of mint on the backend.
